Wilson Senior Care Announces Executive Director of Loris Rehab & Nursing Center

Brock Oates 8870 Final LRWilson Senior Care is pleased to announce that Brock Oates, RN, NHA as the Executive Director for Loris Rehab & Nursing Center in Loris, SC.

Brock joins Loris Rehab & Nursing Center with over 22 years of leadership service, with the parent company. In 1993, she began her career with Wilson Senior Care as a Care Plan Coordinator, at Oakhaven Nursing Center (Darlington, SC). After one year of service, she was promoted as the Director of Nursing and held that title until 1996, when she became the facility’s Executive Director.

In her early career days, Brock was an educator teaching both Mathematics and Spanish. She also has years of experience as a legal nurse consultant. Brock is approved by the Board of Long-term Care Administrators as an “Administrator’s- in-Training Preceptor”.

Brock Oates – Executive Director for Loris Relab & Nursing Center stated, “I look forward to serving Loris community and look forward to working with this team to move such a beautiful facility in the right direction,” Brock stated. She added, “Above all my prayer is that I can make a positive difference in the lives of others at a time in their lives when they really need someone to care for them”.

Brock earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Coker College in Spanish and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Florence Darlington Technical College.

Brock is a native of Darlington, SC. Brock and her family have spent almost every weekend for the last several year’s enjoying North Myrtle Beach and its surrounding communities. It is no secret how much she loves the area and is thrilled to make it her new home. Brock and her husband Ben currently live in North Myrtle Beach. The Oates’ have five children and three grand-children. Brock enjoys spending time with her family and cherishes their time at the beach.
