Wilson Senior Care Announces New Director of Nursing at Morrell Nursing Center

Anna came to Morrell in 2009 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Upon graduating from Florence Darlington Technical College with an Associate Degree in Nursing, Anna was promoted to a Registered Nurse at Morrell. In October 2011, she was once again promoted to Morrell’s Wound Care Nurse. Anna continued her education while working at Morrell and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Western Governor’s University in 2012 followed by a promotion to Unit Manager for The Rehab Center at Morrell.

Anna was born in McBee, SC. She resides in Hartsville, SC with her husband Corey Byrd and their daughter, Jema Byrd. Anna played collegiate softball for Coker College. She continues her love of softball, as well as, reading, photography, and spending time with her family.

Morrell Nursing Center, along with all of Wilson Senior Care facilities, have achieved 5 Star Status. Morrell Nursing Center is a 154 bed skilled nursing facility located at 900 N. Marquis Highway in Hartsville. The Rehab Center at Morrell is also housed at this location, a 56 bed unit, which provides short-term rehabilitation for stroke, orthopedic and generalized weakness patients. Wilson Senior Care’s other facilities include Oakhaven Nursing Center, an 88 bed facility located at 123 Oak Street in Darlington and Medford Nursing Center, also an 88 bed facility located at 105 Medford Drive in Darlington.
